PWEN Origin

The Mandate of a Pastors' Wives Ministry was conceived in March of 2013.

God used my Husband, Otis, to plant the seed over several months. I contemplated the idea but one night on the way to Bible Study, I heard the Voice of God speak to me so clearly, "Tell My Pastors' Wives, Don't Suffer in Silence!"  He instructed me to start an online ministry that offered confidential counseling and easy access to anyone in need. Once He spoke and I conceived, I knew I had to move.

Years ago He gave me a heart of compassion and concern for Pastors' Wives who carry the weight of ministry, the unique challenges that Pastors' Wives face and the lack of safe outlets for help and support.  I've carried a burden for the family of Pastors and their Wives for many years, such as the stress sometimes on the marriages, pressures on their children and the overall challenges faced balancing family life and church life.  I also understand the added challenge when the husband and the wife have a call of God on their lives.  But God wants us to have the keys to succeed in Our House as much as in Our Church House.

It would be great if we could trust everyone with our cares and challenges knowing they would be safe and protected, but most of us don't have that luxury. My prayer is that the Pastors' Wives Empowerment Network will be that safe place of true Sisterhood where you can confidently share your burdens and know, "we have you covered".   This Ministry was birthed with this Mission in mind. It will be a place of safety, encouragement, support, guidance, wisdom and much prayer to "Empower you to fulfill every call".

Pastors' Wives Empowerment Network, also know as P.W.E.N., hosted its first event to officially introduce this vision on November 16, 2013. An intimate group of Pastors' Wives in Atlanta, Ga. were invited to a luncheon to pre-launch this ministry. In January 2014, the Network was launched and the Website went Live! Nine Months in the Making! To God Be The Glory!

Philippians 4:13 (Amplified) says, "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]."  We fully believe the word of God and are committed to see you win in every area of your life.  Our Motto at P.W.E.N. is, "We Can Do It!"
